This Court while disposing the petition finding the FIR in Crime No.390 of 2011 was registered on 08.09.2011 and it was sent to the concerned Court only on 15.05.2012 at about 11.45 a.m, with a delay, directed the Commissioner of Police to take necessary action against the concerned officer on or before 17.02.2020 and report compliance. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the disciplinary proceedings has been initiated against the concerned Assistant Commissioner of Police, PR West Zone and charge memo issued on 06.02.2020, explanation obtained on 17.02.2020 and thereafter, enquiry commenced, sofar three witnesses have been examined on 19.03.2020. Thereafter, the enquiry could not be proceeded due to prevailing COVID-19 situation. After normalcy returns, the Enquiry Officer/the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ambattur would proceed with the enquiry and reach its logical conclusion. http://www.judis.nic.in
