By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass and also the limited relief that is sought to be granted, notice to 2nd respondent is dispensed with.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to register the sale deed dated 11.04.2025 by considering the registration request made by the petitioner vide Temporary Receipt No.TP/216324378/2025 dated 11.04.2025.

3. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the sale deed dated 11.04.2025 presented by the petitioner was refused to be registered on the ground that the subject property was attached by order of the Sub Court, Cheyyar, dated 26.06.2024.

4. Learned Govt. Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent, at the outset, would submit that the petitioners may represent the document/sale

deed and the same would be registered if it is, otherwise in order. It is made clear that any order refusing to registration ought to be made within a period of two weeks from the date of uploading of the web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy. If for any reason, the respondent is of the view that registration of the sale deed ought to be refused, the refusal slip would be issued assigning reasons therefor.
