The Administrator, Perambur Cooperative Building Society Limited, Jawahar Nagar, Chennai-82 Respondents Prayer:- This Writ Petition has been filed, under Article 222 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 29.04.2022 and the reminder Respondents dated 05.05.2022, 28.06.2022, 27.07.2022, 03.08.2022, 17.08.2022, 30.09.2022, 28.12.2022 and 06.03.2023, seeking to pay subsistence allowance and furnish the required documents to the Petitioner during the suspension period from 13.06.2022 to till date with interest 14% p.a. ORDER

1. This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated, 29.04.2022 and the reminder representations, dated 05.05.2022, 28.06.2022, 27.07.2022, 03.08.2022, 17.08.2022, 30.09.2022, 28.12.2022 and 06.03.2023, seeking to pay the subsistence allowance and furnish the 1/3

required documents to the Petitioner during the suspension period from 13.06.2022 to till date with interest 14% p.a.

2. This Court heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the Respondents.

3. According to the learned counsel for the Petitioner, the Petitioner was suspended on 13.03.2022 and he was paid the subsistence allowance till June 2022 and thereafter, it was not paid and therefore, the Petitioner has sent several representations, one of which is the representation dated 06.03.2023. Since the representations of the Petitioner are not considered so far, this Writ Petition has been filed.

4. Considering the fact that the Petitioner has not been paid subsistence allowance, without expressing anything on merits of the representations of the Petitioner, the Respondents are directed to dispose of the representation of the Petitioner, dated 06.03.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected WMP is closed.
