O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 26.04.2018 seeking consideration of the benefits of pay scale as per proceedings of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies made in Na.Ka.No.92088/2008/SF3 dated 21.08.2008, on merits, within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader (Co-op) accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up and disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner made a representation to the respondent on 26.04.2018 seeking to fix a time scape of pay. But, no orders have been passed till https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

date. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since the petitioner sought for limited relief, no useful purpose would be served by seeking counter affidavit from the respondent and as such this Writ Petition may be disposed of with a direction to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 26.04.2018, within a stipulated period.

5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no objection for the same.

6.Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this Writ Petition and also considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.04.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the representation. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
