2. This writ petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS to direct the first respondent to grant educational loan to the petitioner, for continuing the B.E.(Mechanical Engineering Degree Course) in the second respondent-College, for the year 2013-2014.
3. It has been stated that the petitioner had submitted an application to the first respondent, dated 22.11.2013. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the first respondentBank stating that certain clarifications had been sought from the petitioner, in respect of the application submitted by him, for the grant of educational loan. However, the petitioner had not turned up to furnish the necessary details, sought by the first respondent-Bank. Instead, he has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
6. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the first respondent-Bank, this Court finds it appropriate to direct the petitioner to appear before the first respondent, on 18.07.2016, at 10.30 a.m. and to furnish all the necessary details, as required by the first respondent-Bank, for the sanctioning of the educational loan, in favour of the petitioner.
