JUDGMENT

The wife who has suffered a decree of divorce, has filed the above appeal. Learned counsel for the appellant has filed a Memo, dated 18.04.2012, filed on 19.04.2012, withdrawing his appearance for the appellant in the appeal. Hence, by order dated 26.10.2016, notice was directed to be sent to the appellant. The said notice was also served on the appellant on 17.11.2016. When the appeal was listed on 23.11.2016, we have directed the Registry to follow up the notice sent to the appellant and the matter was directed to be listed on 30.11.2016. Though notice had been served on the appellant, when the appeal is listed today, the appellant has not appeared either in person or through counsel. Hence, the appeal is dismissed for default.
