The petitioner belongs to the Scheduled Caste community. A First Information Report has been registered on 27.06.2015 for major offence under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code against the named persons. Pursuant to the same, the petitioner made a representation on 27.08.2015 seeking compensation for the death of her husband. As the said request has not been considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.Taking into consideration the pendency of the representation, a direction is issued to the respondent no.1 to consider and dispose of the said representation dated 27.08.2015 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
