ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents No.1 to 3 to provide police protection to remove the pipeline from the petitioner's land.

The case of the petitioner is that he owned property comprised in Survey No.34/1 to an extent of 0.73 acre situated at Kongarpalayam Village, Gobichettipalayam Taluk, Erode District. Without his knowledge, the respondents 4 to 9 have laid pipeline to draw water to their land. Hence, the petitioner seeks adequate police protection to remove the pipeline.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and

perused the materials placed before this Court. 4.

On perusal of the records, it is revealed that on the permission granted by the revenue authorities, the respondents 4 to 9 had laid the pipeline. If any grievances over the said order, the petition has to approach the civil Court for appropriate relief. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted and the writ petition itself is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
