ORDER
The writ petition is filed seeking to register the Settlement Deed dated 17.04.2025 in respect of property situate at Door No.72A, Kunnutur Village, comprised in Survey No.1/37, ad measuring to an extent of 0.45 cents including 21 trees located within the Sub-Registration District of Thirukalukundram and Registration District of Chengalpattu. Mr.M.Ganesan, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that even though the Settlement Deed was presented for registration, the respondents have neither entertained the same nor refused registration by issuing a proper check slip. 3.
Mr.U.Bharanidharan, the learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, would submit that if the petitioner presents the Settlement Deed, the same will be considered and if it is in order, it will be registered or it will be returned with a proper check slip.

In view of the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader, the petitioner is directed to present the Settlement Deed for registration and the respondents shall register the same, if it is in order, otherwise, the same shall be returned with appropriate check slip citing out the reasons for return.
With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
