Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to furnish the copy of the full inspection report submitted by the inspection officer under section 82 of the Act dated 10.10.2014. Mr.V.Selvaraj, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner is a Co-operative Society which filed the present writ petition seeking for a Mandamus directing the respondents to furnish a copy of the full inspection report dated 10.10.2014 submitted by the Inspection Officer under Section 82 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act.

3. Mr.M.S.Palanasamy, learned counsel for the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

submitted that the petitioner Society is entitled to get a copy of the said report as the inspection conducted by the Field Officer pertains to the members of the petitioner Society.

4. Furnishing a copy of such report to the petitioner certainly, will not prejudice the interest of the respondent Society in any manner. Therefore, this Court is of the view that the petitioner is entitled to get a copy of such report.

5. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, the respondent is directed to furnish a copy of the said report to the petitioner Society within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
