Heard Mr.S.Venkatesh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent.
2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent to pass orders on his application dated 5.12.2014 for transfer of patta in respect of the land in S.No.185/3, Site No.9 and 10 to an extent of 1997 sq.feet (186 sq. meters) in total and grant patta in his name.
3. According to the petitioner, already an enquiry has been ordered to be conducted by the Revenue Inspector, Somayampalayam by the Tahsildar, Coimbatore North vide endorsement made in his representation dated 05.12.2014. The petitioner states that since the planning permission is to expire by 24.04.2015, he prays that a direction may be issued to the authority to complete the enquiry and submit a report and the Tahsildar may be directed to pass appropriate orders at the earliest.

In the light of the fact that already the respondent has directed the enquiry to be conducted by the Revenue Inspector, Somayampalayam, there will be a direction to the respondent to call for the report from the Revenue Inspector, Somayampalayam and after https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
receiving such report, consider the application of the petitioner dated 05.12.2014 for transfer of patta and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
