ORDER

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to quash the proceedings in Na.Ka.203/2017/D dated 08.02.2017 passed by the first respondent.

2.In this Writ Petition, the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer for convening a peace committee meeting for the peaceful conduct of Thaipoosam Festival, is under challenge. On 22.01.2018, this Court had passed an order directing that the Festival should be conducted peacefully. Now, the Festival is over on 30.01.2018. In such view of the matter, this Writ Petition has become infructuous and the same is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
