PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to rectify the error occurred in the online Town Survey Land Register in respect of T.S.No.41, Block No.13, Puliyur Village, Egmore Taluk, Chennai District by changing the same from government land to ryotwari land and consequently record the petitioner's name as the 1/4

owner of the said T.S.No.41 on considering the petitioner's representation dated 19.2.2025.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.2.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for rectification of the error that had taken place in the town survey land register by classifying the property in T.S.No.41, Block No.13, Puliyur Village, Egmore Taluk, Chennai District from government land to ryotwari land.

3. As could be seen from the records, the representation dated 19.2.2025 has been given by the petitioner to the first respondent. 2/4

Hence, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner dated 19.2.2025 on merits and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
