The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service subject to the outcome of the criminal case pending against him in Crime No.63 of 2025 on the file of the Perambalur Police Station and suspension proceedings pending on the file of the respondent, based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.04.2025.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that while the petitioner was in service, on certain allegation, a criminal complaint was registered against him and based upon the criminal complaint, he was suspended on 04.02.2025. It is the submission of the petitioner that to reconsider his suspension, he has sent a representation to the respondent on 01.04.2025 and such representation is yet to be considered by the respondent.

3. In such view of the matter, without going into the merits of the issue, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.04.2025 on it's own merits and in 2/4

accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
