The petitioner challenges the charge memo dated 07.11.2014 signed on 18.11.2014, on various grounds, including mala fides.

2. There is no question of quashing the charge memo, at this point of time. By issuing the charge memo, no adverse order has been passed against the petitioner. The petitioner is given an opportunity to submit her explanation and thereafter, enquiry would be conducted by the appropriate authority. It is not, as if, the Enquiry Officer would not take note of the explanation given by the petitioner before proceeding further to file a report. I am, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

therefore, of the view that the petitioner has not made out a case for quashing the enquiry proceedings.

3. The first respondent is directed to conclude the enquiry proceedings as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that no further extension would be granted. The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the first respondent for an early disposal of the proceedings.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
