Heard the learned counsels, appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the respondents.

This writ petition has been filed, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to sanction the educational loan sought by the petitioner, within a reasonable time.

At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondent Bank had submitted that the educational loan sought by the petitioner had been sanctioned. He had further submitted that a total amount of Rs.2,71,985/- had been sanctioned, as educational loan, in favour of the petitioner, including for the First year of B.E. Degree course, which he is pursuing. The learned counsel had also placed before this Court a copy of the communication issued by the Chief Manager, Zonal Office of the respondent Bank, dated 1.7.2016, in support of his claim.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent Bank and in view of the communication issued by the Chief Manager, Zonal Office of the respondent Bank, dated 1.7.2016, this Court is of the view that no further orders are necessary in the writ petition. Hence, the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
