Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2017 submitted to the respondents 1 to 4 for offence of Modesty, Sexual tortures and Harassments, by way of mobile phone, threat done by the 5th respondent and take action as per law.

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2017 submitted to the respondents 1 to 4 for offence of Modesty, Sexual tortures and Harassments, by way of mobile phone, threat done by the 5th respondent and take action as per law.
2. The petitioner has given a representation dated 29.05.2017, alleging that she is being sexually harassed by the fifth respondent and thereafter, filed the present petition for a direction to take appropriate action.
3. Heard Mr.G.V.Sridharan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.D.Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned counsel for the fifth respondent.
4. It is seen that the petitioner was doing chit business and had cheated around 12 people to the tune of Rs.1,10,23,400/-, including the fifth respondent.
5. The learned counsel for the fifth respondent submitted that on the complaint given by the wife of the fifth respondent, a regular case in Crime No.887 of 2017 has been registered under Sections 406 and 420 IPC against the petitioner and the petitioner was arrested and released on bail.
6. In such view of the matter, this Court is of the view that the present representation given by the petitioner is only a counter blast to torpedo the police investigation in Crime No.887 of 2017 against him and hence, no direction as prayed for by the petitioner can be issued.
In the result, this petition is dismissed, as being devoid of merits. No costs.
