O R D E R

Petitioner seeks quash of proceedings in C.C.No.423 of 2010 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate-I, Erode for the offences under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned counsel for respondent.

3. A perusal of the petition reveals that allegations having been preferred falsely. This Court finds that all contentions raised by the petitioner before this Court have already been canvassed before the Trial Court. Hence, this Court finds no merits in this petition and the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Taking into consideration that the case is of the year 2010, the trial Court is directed to dispose of the case within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order.
