The petitioner is an agriculturist and is owning agricultural land in S.No.100/4B, Anaimalai Village, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District. There is a open well with sufficient water in his above said agricultural land. Therefore, the petitioner is selling the water to the nearby schools and other Government Departments and not for any industrial or any other common purposes. Whileso, the respondents had threatened the petitioner for selling the water to others. Under such circumstances, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 19.02.2013 to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pollachi to grant permission to supply water for drinking purposes to the near by schools as well as to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Government Organizations. Since, it is yet to be favoured with any kind of response, the petitioner has come forward to file this Writ Petition.

2. Heard Mr.T.E.Badrinathan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.S.Navaneethan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. Learned Government Pleader admitted the fact that the said representation is pending before the appropriate authority .

4. Taking into consideration, the fact and circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass orders directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2013 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
