Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the order passed by the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.C1/2070/2019 dated 12.03.2020 to handover the possession of the land in S.No.587/1 to the extent of 1.06.02 Hectare situated at Vannivedu Village, V.C.Mottur, Walaja Taluk, Ranipet District to the 2nd and 3rd respondents for the construction of residential quarters, quash the same and direct the respondents 1, 4, 5, 6 and 7 to construct school building for the upgradation of school, revenue office, library, play ground and execute other necessary schemes for the easy accessibility of the villagers.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.V.Elangovan, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1, 4 to 6 and Mr.Babu Muthu Meeran, learned counsel for the respondents 2 and 3.

2. Learned Government Advocate submits that the proposal for construction of the slum tenements in the subject land has been withdrawn.

3. In view of that, the purpose of the writ petition stands served. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, C.M.P.Nos.17755, 17757 and 17758 of 2020 are closed.
