ORDER

The present petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself with the consent of learned counsel appearing for the respective parties.

This petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to acquire the remaining part of the petitioner's house and land in S.No.585/2E, 585/2F Pappinaiyakanahalli Village Dharmapuri Taluk and District and award the enhanced compensation by considering representations dated 31.12.2021 and 05.03.2025.

Mr.B.Janarth Kumar, learned counsel appearing virtually on behalf of the petitioner, would submit that the petitioner has made representations dated 31.12.2021 and 05.03.2025, seeking acquisition of the remaining part of the petitioner's house and land comprised in land bearing S.Nos.585/2E and 585/2F, Pappinaiyakanahalli Village, Dharmapuri Taluk and District and for enhancement of the compensation awarded. Since the said representations have not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. At the outset, Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that enquiry on the petitioner's representation has commenced and would submit that appropriate orders would be passed, on its own Page No.2 of 5

merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and any other interested parties within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the uploaded copy of this order, which is accepted to by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

5. By recording the aforesaid submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent, the present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
