This writ petition is filed to direct the second respondent to give police protection as sought by the petitioner in his representation dated 25.04.2024 while measuring the land situated in S.No.11/5 at Ottapatti Village, Pethanayakkan Palayam Taluk, Salem District for sub-dividing the same as per the application dated 16.02.2024.
2. From the records filed in support of the affidavit, this Court finds that the petitioner claims title over the property and has made a request for transfer of patta to the Tahsildar and same is pending. When request is pending for transfer of patta, the present petition seeking police protection to measure the land is premature. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed.
