ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family members on the complaint given by one Prasad to the Madhavaram Police.

2. From the affidavit filed in support of this petition, it is stated that the first respondent police, without any jurisdiction, is causing harassment to the petitioner on the complaint given by one Prasad.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that on perusing the complaint and the cause of action, the respondent police will take necessary action to transfer the complaint to the jurisdictional police for investigation, if it is so required. -2-

4. Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the police, whoever take up the complaint of Prasad, for investigation and conduct the enquiry in the manner known to law and shall not violate the provisions of law of right of the petitioner. 07.06.2024 asi To
