Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed."

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the proceedings in STC No.476 of 2023 pending on the file of the Fast Track Court (Judicial Magistrate, Magisterial Level), Tiruppur District.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that already the entire bundle has been handed over to the petitioner along with change of vakalat.

3. So far, the petitioner did not engage any counsel on his behalf to appear before this Court. Today when the matter is called, no one appeared either by person or through a new counsel on record.

4. The learned counsel for the respondent submits that already trial has been commenced and the respondent was examined as P.W.1. Therefore, after commencement of trial, this petition filed to quash the proceedings in STC No.476/2023 cannot be entertained.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is quashed. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
