ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. The petitioner would state that she has studied M.Com., B.Ed., and after successfully completing the above said courses, registered her name in the jurisdictional Employment Exchange. The Teachers Recruitment Board has called for applications for direct recruitment to the post of Post Graduate Assistant for the years 2013-2014 and 2014-2015.

The petitioner has submitted an application and it was received and she was assigned with the Roll No.14PG10291638. The petitioner also attended the examination and was expecting a positive result. It is further stated that since https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

she belongs to Backward Class community, she was confident of getting selected to the said post. However, to the shock and surprise, when the results were announced, she was called for certificate verification.

The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that though the persons who have got 92 marks in Backward Class category and who are younger in age than that of the petitioner, were given appointment whereas, the rightful claim of the petitioner has been unjustly overlooked. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 26.09.2015 to the respondent and since no orders have been passed, the petitioner came forward to file this writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Srinivasan, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice for the respondent.

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances, directs the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, by the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
