ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents to register a case on the complaint given by the petitioner on 06.02.2015 and file a final report, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police.

3.It was found that an offence had taken place within Pondicherry and therefore, the respondents police have transferred the complaint of the petitioner to the Superintendent of Police, Pondicherry on 02.03.2015, after intimating the same to the petitioner.

4. In view of the same, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to give a copy of the complaint dated 06.02.2015, to the Superintendent of Police, CID, Pondicherry and the same shall be assigned to any competent officer, who shall look into the complaint and conduct an enquiry. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, action shall be taken as per the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].
