ORDER
The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider and pass final order in respect of petitioners' representation dated 11.09.2024 seeking settlement of the deathcum-retiral benefits and insurance proceeds in respect which petitioners' deceased son is entitled to in his capacity as employee of 1st respondent.
2. At the outset, Mr.B.Vignesh, learned counsel undertakes to file vakalat and represents respondents 1 to 4, he would submit that the 2nd respondent
would consider and pass appropriate orders on petitioners' representation on merits and in accordance with law, within the time period stipulated by this Court. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioners.
3. In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider petitioners' joint representation dated 11.09.2024 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after issuing notice and after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioners, and any other interested persons within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy of the order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.
