Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the concerned records relating to the order of suspension made in C.No.A3/0217/2017 C.O.No.13/2017 dated 11.01.2017 passed by the respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner in service with all consequential monetary and other benefits.

The petitioner challenges the order of suspension dated 11.01.2017, by which, the petitioner has been placed under suspension, pending enquiry into the grave charges. 2.Without going into the merits of the matter or the gravity of the charges against the petitioner, I am of the considered opinion that a challenge to an order of suspension, that too of a person in uniformed services pending enquiry into serious charges cannot be interfered with by this Court. However, it will be open to the petitioner to seek review of the order of suspension, since nearly four months have elapsed from the date of suspension. It is for the authorities to consider such request, if any, made by the petitioner.

3.The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations.

No costs.

Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
