Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to consider petitioner's appeal dated 25.03.2023 pending on the file of the second respondent and consequently direct the respondents to issue Legal Heirship Certificate to petitioner's grandfather namely deceased Nachimuthu Gounder @ Periya Nachimuthu Gounder on the basis of petitioner's application dated 13.01.2023, within a stipulated time. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 25.03.2023 pending on the file of the second respondent and consequently direct the respondents to issue Legal Heirship Certificate to the petitioner's grandfather namely deceased Nachimuthu Gounder @ Periya Nachimuthu Gounder on the basis of the petitioner's application dated 13.01.2023, within a stipulated time.

2. Mr.S.Prabakaran, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

3.Heard Mr.D.Raghu, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.S.Prabakaran, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the case and considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 25.03.2023 and dispose of the same within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
