Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as an incharge Headmaster in the 5th respondent school as the petitioner is the seniormost BT Assistant in the said school.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Headmaster in the fifth respondent School.

2. Heard and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the senior most Teacher to be given the post of Headmaster in-charge.

4. The learned counsel for the fifth respondent submitted that the petitioner is not qualified with Teacher Eligibility Test and the 6th respondent being the senior most Teacher was appointed as Headmaster in-charge by the third respondent.

5. In view of the above, the request made by the petitioner cannot be considered and the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. 02.08.2024 Internet: Yes Index : Yes/No Speaking/Non Speaking order mn
