This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.01.2018 and dispose of the same within the time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the Family Pension has not yet been sanctioned to the petitioner after her husband's death on 14.11.2016. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

3. Today, when the mater is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent, produced a communication from the Office of the Accountant General (A & E), Tamil Nadu, Chennai, and submitted that, as per proceedings dated 13th January 2023, No.AG (A&E)/PEN, P01/1012624/2/PPO No.D0124624, Family Pension to the family of Late. Anantha Krishnan B (D.O.B. 09.10.1942) who died on 14.11.2016, was sanctioned and accordingly, the petitioner is entitled for Rs.8,300/- per month as Family Pension.

This Court considered the submissions of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent and that the representation of the petitioner has already been considered and appropriate orders already have been passed and the amount has also been disbursed as noted above and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition.

6. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
