Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.10.2017 with regard to issuance of patta infavour of the petitioner in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.108/1, 0.01.0 Ares in U.D.R.No.132/15 and 0.10.1 Ares in 132/16 situated at Devapandalam Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Villupuram District. Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider her representation dated 13.10.2017, wherein and whereby she sought for issuance of patta in her favour, in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.108/1, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

0.01.0 Acres in U.D.R.No.132/15 and 0.10.1 Acres in 132/16 situated at Devapandalam Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Villupuram District.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that her request was not considered by the respondents so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.10.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
