Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Appeal dated 08.10.2015 against the order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 14.09.2015 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honourable court. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner's Association had purchased vast extent on various lands vide sale deeds having to be in the year 1970, which in turn executed very many sale deeds in favour of the members of the petitioner Association. It appears to be that the second respondent vide order dated 14.09.2015, has cancelled patta in respect of Survey Nos.262/1, 275/27 and 276/35 in Varadharajapuram Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

District admeasuring to an extent of 18 grounds and 753 sq.ft. and challenging the legality of the order, the petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent on 08.10.2015 along with petition for saty. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that, neither the stay petition is taken up for hearing nor the appeal petition and in this regard, has also sent a Lawyer's notice dated 23.02.2016 and since no response is forthcoming, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Mohanraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Thangapandi, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.

4.This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal memorandum dated 08.10.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice the respondents 3 and 4 and pass appropriate orders, within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the respondents 3 and 4. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
