ORDER
The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 14.03.2025 in and disburse the compensation amount for interior of the premises in respect of Old Door No.98, New Door No.18, Madipakkam Main Road, Keelkatalai, Chennai97 and also pay Rs.10 lakhs towards advance amount.
2. At the outset, it is submitted by Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for 2nd Respondent that the representation of the petitioner dated 14.03.2025 would be considered and orders passed in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the interested parties, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, which was readily accepted by the learned counsel for petitioner.
3. In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2025, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders 2/4
in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested persons/stake holders, within a period of four
(4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.
