ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for directing the respondent to grant permission and protection at about 16.30 at Near the office of Thasilthar, Kattumannarkoil Taluk, Cuddalore District by considering the petitioner representation dated 15.05.2023.

2. When the matter came up yesterday, I have allowed this petition along with the batch of cases, which were filed seeking permission for conducting Adal Padal, under the impression that the present case was also filed seeking permission for conducting Adal padal, Subsequently, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) informed that this is a case relating to agitation of funds. Therefore, this case is listed under the caption "for clarification" today (i.e., 25.05.2023).

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that, it is a case regarding promotion for agitation against the Headmaster and school teachers in Kattumannar Koil Taluk, Cuddalore District.

4. When the matter is taken up today, the learned counsel for the petitioner is present and submits that, this case is posted today for clarification. He further submits that the proposed date for conducting agitation is 25.05.2023.

5. Now, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would further submit that a copy of the order passed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sethiyathoppu, vide Na.Ka.No.26/Ka.Thu.Ka-Se/2023 dated 23.05.2023, rejecting permission to conduct agitation.

6. In the light of the above objection made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. 25.05.2023 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No jas/gd 3/5
