This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus direct the 2nd respondent to transfer the patta in the name of Mr.Devaraj (Petitioner) pertains to the land measuring an extent of 1.14 acres (0.46.0 Hectare) comprised in S.No.34/1, New S.No.34/1R, situated at Bannihalli Village, Krishnagiri Taluk and District within the Registration District of Krishnagiri and Sub Registration District of Kaveripakkam.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 06.01.2020, wherein the petitioner has sought for transfer of patta in his name with respect to the subject property.

Mr.Annai Ezhil, learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the second respondent has fixed a date for an enquiry on 20.10.2020 at 11.a.m. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner can be present for the enquiry along with all relevant documents.

3. Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the second respondent has already fixed a date for an enquiry, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to conduct the enquiry and pass orders strictly in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If, the second respondent finds any other interested party to be heard before passing final orders, appropriate notice shall be issued to the parties before passing the final orders. 4.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
