Respondents Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 & 2 to restore the petitioner's name in the revenue records such as Chitta, Adangal & Town Survey Land Register, etc., by deleting the name of the 3rd respondent herein with respect to the lands owned by the petitioner, compromised in Survey Nos.298/10A, 300/5, 300/6, 300/7, 300/8, 300/9, 300/10, 301/2, 301/7A1, 303/11, 304/2, 305/12, 305/13 & 306/2 situated in Keezhkattalai Village, Pallavaram Taluk, Chengalpet District, considering the representation dated 02.09.2020 of the petitioner within a time frame.

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 02.09.2020 wherein the petitioner has sought for deletion of the name of the third respondent in the revenue records, and to restore the name of the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Mr.G.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the representation made by the petitioner has been taken on file and the first respondent has fixed the date for enquiry on 23.10.2020 at 04.00 P.M. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner can be present at the time of enquiry along with all the relevant documents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the first respondent has already called the petitioner for enquiry, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to complete the enquiry within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
