O R D E R
(The Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble The Chief Justice) On hearing the learned counsel for the parties, we are of the view that the only direction to be passed is for the respondents to take due care to ensure that the wholesale vegetable dealers do not enter the market and impede the objectives with which the ''Uzhavar Sandhai'' have been set up - for farmers who sell their vegetables by retail to the actual consumers within a specified period of time of the day - 3.00 to 7.00a.m. This would ensure not only the farmer getting better value, but the consumers being able to obtain vegetables at lesser price, the very objective of such process.
2. The District Collector/first respondent to ensure compliance of the aforesaid order.
3. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of, leaving the parties to bear their own costs.
