PRAYER:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 to 5 to act as per order dated 02.05.1994 passed by the Additional Collector of Coimbatore District in Ref.No.89185/94 C2 based on the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2016. [Prayer amended vide order of Court dated 14.12.2018 made in W.M.P.No.26561 of 2018 in WP No.39194 of 2016].

O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents 2 to 5 to act as per order dated 02.05.1994 passed by the Additional Collector of Coimbatore District in Ref.No.89185/94 C2 based on the representation submitted by the petitioner on 16.06.2016.

2. The petitioner seeks implementation of the order passed by the Additional Collector, Coimbatore District dated 02.05.1994. However, the writ petition is filed in the year 2016 i.e., after a lapse of about twenty two years.

3. The order dated 02.05.1994 reveals that the said order is an appellate order against the orders of the Assistant Settlement Officer, Tharapuram.

4. In view of the fact that the said order has got certain civil consequences and the present writ petition is filed after the lapse of about twenty two years, the relief as such sought for in the present writ petition deserves no merit consideration at this length of time. If at all the petitioner is having any grievance in respect of such civil disputes, it is for him to redress the same in the manner known to law.

5. With the abovesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS II) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar Svn To 1.
