Respondent (Cr.No.27/15) Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., directing the respondent police to file a final report in the above Crime No.27 of 2015 as early as possible pending on the file of respondent police.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.27 of 2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation in Cr.No.27 of 2015 has been completed and the case has been closed as "mistake of fact" and RCS notice was served on the petitioner/defacto complainant on 09.02.2015. Under such circumstances, the respondent police is directed to file the Closure Report before the jurisdictional Magistrate, if not already filed.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the Closure Report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate-II, Tiruvallur on 19.08.2016.

5. In view of the above, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the learned Judicial Magistrate II, Tiruvallur, for filing protest application.
