When this petition came up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent/Police.

A reading on the petitioner's complaint, dated 11.02.2015, discloses that the petitioner is claiming compensation from his Employer for the amputation of ring finger in his right hand. Hence, this Court is of the view that the petitioner has an efficacious remedy by filing a Claim Petition under the provisions of Workmen's Compensation Act before the Workmen's Compensation Tribunal for getting compensation.
