The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8(b) r/w 20 (a)(i) and 29(1) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.664 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has filed an counter that the petitioner is not an accused in Crime No.664 of 2021, which is pending on the file of the respondent.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned additional public prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
