TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The Appeal in CMA.No.2426 of 2012 filed by the appellant, Metropolitan Transport Corporation Limited Chennai against the judgment and decree dated 05.04.2010 in M.C.O.P.No.2526 of 2006 on the file of the Learned VI Judge,Small Causes Court, Chennai has been referred to Lok Adalat for Conciliation today.

2. The Appellant Metropolitan Transport Corporation Limited Chennai represented by Deputy Manager (Legal) appeared before Lok Adalat and represented that the matter has been settled https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

before Lok Adalat and the amount to be deposited as per the judgment and decree of the Lower Court has been deposited before the competent Court and the said amount has been withdrawn by the respondent here in. An endorsement to that effect has been made on the appeal memorandum by the appellant and the same is recorded by Lok Adalat.

3. In view of the above said Position the appellant has also requested in the endorsement that the appeal may be dismissed as withdrawn. Hence, the appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. Award is passed accordingly. No order as to costs. Consequently, connected MP.No.1/2012, is closed.

4. The full Court fee paid shall be refunded to the appellant in the manner provided under Section 69-A of the Tamil Nadu Court-Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955 and the Court Fees Act, 1870 as provided for under sub Sec.1 of Section 21 r/w 25 of LSA Act 1987 as amended in 1994.
