PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.05.2022 and to provide police protection for the petitioner's property and family. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.05.2022 and to provide police protection for the petitioner's property and family.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that respondents 4 to 8 along with some rowdy elements had pelted stones on the petitioner's house using filthy languages. Despite the petitioner had lodged a complaint before the third respondent police, no action has been taken by the respondent. Hence, he seeks police protection.

3. Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police would submit that there is civil dispute pending between the parties.

4. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

5. Such view of the matter, it is well open to the petitioner to approach Civil Court to protect his possession. If any law and order problem arises, it is the duty of the respondents police to take action as per the law.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
