ORDER
(1) Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
(2) The writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent/Tahsildar, Athur Taluk, which according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, has been wrongly given in the writ petition, but actually, it is the Tahsildar, Gengavalli Taluk, Salem District, to comply with the order of the 1st respondent dated 01.07.2021 made in O.M.No.1528/2021/A3.
(3) The petitioner had given a representation to the 1st respondent on 27.04.2020 and a further representation on 27.04.2021. Taking note of the said representation, the 1st respondent had forwarded the same to the Tahsildar, Genagavalli Taluk, calling upon the said official to examine the said representation and take necessary action in accordance with the Rules.
(4) The same direction is also issued to the Tahsildar, Gengavalli, who though is not a party to the writ petition, to comply with the directions of the 1st respondent dated 01.07.2021, take necessary action on the
representation made on 27.04.2021, issue notice to the petitioner herein, examine him and thereafter pass necessary orders in accordance with the Rules, granting or denying grant of patta. The said exercise should be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. (5) The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
