Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, respondent to consider the report and recommendation of the District Collector, Nagapattinam, dated 11.11.2016, for re-classification of his properties situated at the Old Door No.8-B, New Door No.3/1, Chettiyarkoil Sannathi Street, Kuttalam Town in Old Survey No.119D/30, New Survey No.734 of Kuttalam Village & Taluk, Nagapattinam District.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the District Collector's recommendation dated 11.11.2016, the respondent has not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
considered the same and passed any orders so far.
4. Mr.S.N. Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the District Collector's recommendation dated 11.11.2016 and pass orders, in accordance with law, within a time frame.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, I direct the respondent to consider the District Collector's recommendation dated 11.11.2016 for re-classification of the lands and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
