O R D E R

The petitioner was arrested in Crime No.13 of 2025. Thereafter, he filed a petition in Crl.M.P.No.569 of 2025 before the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Erode, dated 15.04.2025, wherein the petitioner (A2) was ordered to be enlarged on bail upon executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties-one of whom must be a blood relative and the other a person residing within the jurisdiction of Thalavadi Taluk.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the condition imposed by the learned Trial Judge, requiring a blood relative as surety, could not be complied with, as the petitioner has no available blood relatives other than his aged parents. Due to their advanced age, the parents are unable to travel from Coimbatore to Erode for the purpose of furnishing surety. Hence, he seeks modification of the bail condition to permit execution of a personal bond.

3. In view of the above, the condition is modified, and the petitioner is directed to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this petition is allowed.
