Learned counsel for the second respondent Transport Corporation has no objection in allowing this petition.

Recording the said submission, this petition is allowed and the delay of 510 days in filing the above appeal is condoned, subject to the condition that the petitioners / appellants pay a sum of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) as cost, to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, High Court Campus, Chennai-104, within a period of two weeks from today, failing which this petition shall stand dismissed automatically.

2.It is made clear that in the event of succeeding in the appeal, the petitioners / appellants will not be entitled for interest for the said delayed period in respect of the enhanced amount of compensation.

3.Registry is directed to number and list the appeal printing the name of the counsel Mr.K.J.Shivakumar for the second respondent, if the same is otherwise in order, after two weeks.
