ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.45 of 2022.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the second respondent has registered a case in the Crime No.45 of 2022 on 23.02.2022, no final report is filed till date.

3. Mr.Leonard Arul Joseph Selvam, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the second respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of six months.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to file a final report within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant. 2/4
