O R D E R

Challenging the final decree passed in I.A.No.1404 of 2013 in O.S.No.954 of 1996 on the file of the Additional District Munsif, Poonamallee, the XIV defendant filed an Appeal in A.S.No.52 of 2015 on the file of the Subordinate Court, Poonamallee.

2.The suit in O.S.No.954 of 1996 was filed by the respondent for partition in the year 1996.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the suit was filed in the year 1996 and the Appeal was filed in the year 2015, the Lower Appellate Court has not disposed of the Appeal yet. Further, the learned counsel submitted that the revision petitioner is a Senior Citizen and therefore, the Lower Appellate Court may be directed to dispose of the Appeal within a time frame.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the Subordinate Judge, Poonamallee to dispose of the Appeal in A.S.No.52 of 2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
